Several popular events are happening this week.
LOL – Ladies On the Loose – the monthly social for Lesbians and their friends and allies, is happening on Thursday, February 16th, at the spacious and fabulous Aldaco’s at Sunset Station! DJ Traci will be playing wonderful eclectic dance music all night. Come enjoy drink specials and fun times with your buddies! Remember to bring your travel-size toiletries and baby diapers and wipees to donate to CAARN.
On Friday, The Alliance at Our Lady of the Lake University is presenting Movie Night: For The Bible Tells Me So. The show starts at 6pm in the Library Community Room which is on the first floor of the Sueltenfuss Library on campus, 411 S.W. 24th St. FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO offers healing, clarity and understanding to anyone caught in the crosshairs of scripture and sexual identity. Many of you have been wanting to see this critically acclaimed movie…Now you can!
The popular, monthly women’s dance is happening Saturday night. Lezzdance is from 6pm to 10pm at Rusty’s, 405 East 7th Street. DJ mix, snacks, grrreat bartenders! $5 at the door. Portion of the proceeds is donated to a local charity every month. Come join the GIRLS at Rusty’s!
