Feb 25San AntonioRun 4 Hope – Brackenridge Park, Koehler Pavilion – 7am. The 2nd Annual Run 4 Hope 5k run/walk. The first 500 pre-registered participants will receive a T-shirt with their paid registration and a race packet. 100% of the proceeds benefits The Rape Crisis Center in San Antonio. Feb 25San Antonio27th Annual Tower Climb & Run for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – 7:30am. Tower Climb & Run is a fundraising event for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Anyone 10 years or older can participate. Competitive: Individuals or teams of four will be timed on a one mile run leading to a 579 foot vertical climb up 952 stairs. Non-Competitive: Individuals or teams of any number will get an athletic work-out like no other climbing the 952 stairs of the signature San Antonio landmark.

Mar 2BoerneCascade Flashlight Tour – 7pm. Cascade Caverns, 226 Cascade Caverns Road. Every month Cascade Caverns hosts an extended nighttime tour using only flashlights in the Cave. Mar 3PflugervilleTiara 5k -  4pm race - Hendrickson High School, 2905 FM 685, Pflugerville. Ladies and Diva’s of all ages, grab your running/walking shoes and water-bottle for the 2nd Annual, new and improved ……Tiara 5k Run(formerly known as the Diva 5k).  Pfamily Pfun activities will also be available before and after Tiara 5k run! Beginning at 2:30 pm, The Diva & Dudes Carnival will have the Human Gyroscope, GAGA Ball, and a Mobile Gaming Theater.

Vendors from across central Texas provide a shopping experience filled with antiques and collectibles, furniture, home decor, arts and crafts, jewelry, tools, produce, and much more. Mar 3Wimberley – Wimberley Market Day – 7pm-4pm. 601 FM 2325. First Saturday of the month from March through December. The oldest outdoor market in the Texas Hill Country and the second-largest in the state. We feature over 475 booths of everything you can’t live without. Come stroll our tree-shaded paths, listen to live music and shop to your heart’s content. Free admission.

Mar 4AustinZilker Park Kite Festival – 10am – 5pm. The Kite Festival is a family-oriented event and traditionally a day reserved for care-free play in the park. Typically 10,000 to 20,000 people, depending upon the weather, attend the event. Locations for vendors and exhibitors are spaced around the kite flying field to allow maximum access. Our vendors and exhibitors are both for profit and non-profit.

Athletic bodies and contemporary costumes meet explosive Taiko drumming and innovative choreography in a show that has critics waxing lyrical about TAO’s extraordinary precision, energy, and stamina. The stars of TAO live and train at a compound in the mountains of Japan, reaching the highest level of virtuosity only after years of intensive study. The performers each bring nontraditional flair to the group by drawing on their diverse backgrounds: one as a hard rock musician, another a gymnast, and yet another as a composer. Mar 17Marble Falls – UltiFit Challenge Series Part 1 - 10am. Reveille Peak Ranch, 105 County Road 114. The UltiFIT Challenge Series is a multi-sport event designed to challenge strength and endurance. If you’re a Crossfitter, body pumper, boot camper, runner, cyclist, triathlete, or something in the middle, this is for you! The race includes: 10-minute AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible in 10 minutes) of: 5 burpees, 10 box jumps, 10 push ups (hand release), 15 squats, plus 5K trail run for runners or 10-12K mountain bike course, then 100 kettle bell swings to finish. Time stops when you cross the finish line! Stick around to grab a catered meal, a shower, a beer if you’re over 21–all right here at the Ranch.
